Happy 6h Birthday Moira!

 Presents, a train ride, dinner out, no chores, and a day all about her- what more could a girl want?  Our rule following sweetheart is growing into a beautiful girl.  We are so lucky to have her in our family!

Our Tooth Fairy Needs to Get Her Act Together

Sigh... Maybe by the time Luca loses teeth she'll be able to remember at night...

Oh the Things a One Year Old Can Disturb!

In the past 15 minutes I have put the following up on the counter:

the dog food container,
the step stool,
the dog food and water,
and the computer keyboard.

 We have a very busy 1 year old here, lol.

And the Award for the First McInelly Child with a Broken Bone Goes to....

Violet, with a fractured right clavical! (From falling off her chair at dinner.)

We're supposed to "try" to keep her in the sling for 3 weeks.  We'll see how that goes.

Realizations

I have realized after a week of winter weather in Morgantown that

1) I'm probably gonna have to buy a 4x4 vehicle
2) also gonna need to buy better tires
3) I need winter boots and
4) I better get used to my kids being home in January and probably February, too.

Full Winter Mode

Third day off school due to snow/extremely cold temperatures. I find myself not minding... i really didn't want to tackle my driveway's hill to get to the bus stop!

At Least One Wall In One Bedroom Is Decorated...

I have been slow really decorating the house... just not sure what I want to do with it.  But I finally got one wall done- in Luca's room.
