Luca's Birthday Party

Since we had the family in town for Liliana's baptism, we decided to hold Luca's birthday party the same day. It's safe to say that he liked the cake :)

 We are very proud of Liliana's choice to officially join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She very much enjoyed her day of being center of attention.  This girl is amazing in so many ways and we love her to the moon and back.

Happy First Birthday Luca!

 It has been one crazy year for this little boy- from a 2 week hospital stay and moving to a new house, to all the normal milestones of the first year.  He is such a joy in our lives and we're so happy that he is part of our family.

 We're saving the cake for the party on Saturday, but Popsicles are just fine for him!

 And finally, he gets some man time with his daddy outside! Happy boy!

 6,8,12,and 16 are the ages when we do parties, so Liliana got her big party this year.  It was frozen themed, and the big hit was the pinata, which somehow ended up inside... to my dismay.  I am rather proud of my Olaf cupcakes, though...

It took Liliana 3 hours to spend 50$ at Walmart.  She weighs her decisions very carefully.  But in the end she was a happy girl!
